Alexander Wassermann, Chairman of the Management Board of Zeppelin Systems GmbH, is leaving the company on October 31, 2021 at his own request and for personal reasons. The search for a successor has already begun. As of November 1, 2021, Rochus Hofmann, long-time Managing Director of Zeppelin Systems GmbH, will take over the provisional management of the Plant Engineering strategic business unit (SBU).

Alexander Wassermann took over as Head of the Plant Engineering SBU and chairman of the Management Board of Zeppelin Systems GmbH on July 1, 2019. The Zeppelin Group regrets the departure of this qualified engineer. Despite a challenging market situation and the global coronavirus pandemic, Alexander Wassermann successfully completed numerous international projects. Zeppelin respectfully wishes Alexander Wassermann all the best for his future career and personal life and expresses its gratitude for the work he has done. Until his successor takes over, Rochus Hofmann will assume provisional management of the Plant Engineering SBU from November 1, 2021. In his position as Managing Director of Zeppelin Systems GmbH, he has worked for the company for many years now.
