Garching b. München/Friedrichshafen. Sascha Stiller will take over as Chairman of the Management Board of Zeppelin Systems GmbH and Head of the Plant Engineering strategic business unit (SBU) on April 1, 2025. In doing so, Stiller will also be responsible for all subsidiaries worldwide. Hubert Stojanovic has been appointed Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of Zeppelin Systems GmbH.
The Supervisory Board of the Zeppelin Group appointed Sascha Stiller as Chairman of the Management Board of Zeppelin Systems GmbH effective April 1, 2025. He will also head the Plant Engineering strategic business unit, which combines the Group’s worldwide business with the construction of systems for the handling of high-quality bulk materials. He succeeds Dr. Markus Vöge, who successfully handed over the company to his successor and who retired at the age of 60. The Group thereby filled the succession on the Management Board from its own ranks.
Sascha Stiller joined the Group in 2020 as Head of Corporate Development at Zeppelin Systems after completing his Master of Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Neu-Ulm and having held various positions at Daimler Buses GmbH (formerly EvoBus GmbH). Since July 2023, he has been Managing Director of Zeppelin Systems USA, Inc. based in Florida. In his new role as Chairman of the Management Board (CEO), he will form the Management Board of Zeppelin Systems GmbH together with Ralf Boschert (CFO).
In addition to Sascha Stiller, Zeppelin has appointed Hubert Stojanovic as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to the top management committee. Hubert Stojanovic has been with the company since July 2013 and most recently contributed his expertise as Vice President Performance Materials, Mixing, Components & Service.
"I am pleased that we were able to fill these two key positions in plant engineering from our own ranks. Both Stiller and Stojanovic know the company, our markets and the strategic challenges from different perspectives. Therefore, they are the ideal choice for their respective leadership role”, according to Matthias Benz, Chairman of the Management Board of the Zeppelin Group, on the realignment of the Management Board in the Plant Engineering Strategic Business Unit.
The Plant Engineering business unit has for decades specialized in developing and manufacturing components and systems for the handling of high-quality bulk materials. Zeppelin Systems provides all services in plant engineering from a single source, from basic engineering to the production of its own components and own control technology to final assembly and comprehensive after-sales service, and is a worldwide supplier for industries such as chemicals, plastics, rubber and tires, and food.
The company repeatedly comes up with patents and technical innovations and forges ahead with the development of innovative future technologies – with the aim of providing sustainable and efficient solutions for key industries. Its focus is especially on expanding the business in the areas of plastics and tire recycling as well as the production of battery masses.
